SALLY IMBRIANO
Sally brings her expertise to DC through her voice studio, located in Reston, Virginia. She has a keen understanding of acting through song, and has been trained in the Swedish-Italian method (under Dallas Watts, Sydney) and Estill Model (under Tim Richards, Cardiff). She continues her vocal studies with Jane Margulies Kalbfeld and Rachel Lynes.
Her acting and singing exercises develop a muscle awareness that helps to overcome self-consciousness, working towards a smooth performance grounded in technique. She uses both mental and physical instruction to allow students to portray the characters, regardless of whether they've undergone that type of experience or not. Spending time on vocal technique first, she teaches confidence and consistency vocally while being able to communicate feelings and movements.
Voice Students have been cast in Shakespeare Theatre Company, Gala Hispanic Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, Nextstop Theatre Company, and Creative Cauldron, among others.
Current students have been accepted to GMU (BFA in Musical Theatre), Berklee College of Music (BFA Music), Signature Theatre's Studio One Program and Virginia State Choir.
